The Florida Department of Health in St. Johns County (DOH–St. Johns) provides testing and treatment services to persons infected with, or suspected of being infected with, a sexually transmitted disease (STD).
Identifying and treating STDs early can reduce the incidence of infections and prevent the development of disease-related complications. STD prevention and control services are provided in cooperation with physicians, laboratories, hospitals, other health care providers, and insurance plans.
Services Available
Our services are confidential and include:
- Screening and testing
- Counseling
- Treatment
- Partner counseling and referrals
- Linkages to other services (such as HIV/AIDS patient care, prenatal, and family planning)
Eligibility and Fees
Our confidential STD clinic serves both female and male clients of all ages.
The services provided by our clinic are on a sliding fee scale, based on income. We accept Medicaid.

When you arrive for your appointment, you must bring the following documentation with you to DOH-St. Johns.
- Valid photo identification (such as a driver’s license or government-issued ID)
- Proof of income for the past 30 day period
