Observance of Independence Day Holiday

Governor Ron DeSantis annoucned on June 24, 2024 that state offices will be closed on July 5th in addition to regular office closures on July 4th commemorating Independence Day,  stating the following:

“I am proud to reward our state employees,” said Governor Ron DeSantis. “Following another historic legislative session that delivered tax breaks and record investments for Floridians—all while reducing spending—I hope our state employees use this additional time off to enjoy Florida’s Freedom Summer with their loved ones and celebrate America.”

All Florida Department of Health in St. Johns County offices will be closed on Thursday July 4, 2024 and Friday July 5, 2024 in observance of the Independence Day Holiday. The Department's offices will reopen on Monday, July 8, 2024 with regularly scheduled hours.
